Teaching has become a meaningful extension of Suzanne Ouimet-Fernandez’s artistic practice. She believes that creativity is present in every person and that the process of making art can build confidence, encourage reflection, and bring joy to people of all ages.
Suzanne offers individual instruction as well as small-group and larger workshop settings, adapting her approach to meet the needs and interests of each group. Her teaching emphasizes encouragement, creative exploration, and the development of each student’s unique artistic voice.
Suzanne hopes to nurture a love of art while reminding participants that creativity can remain a lifelong source of discovery, expression, and joy.
Children's Art Classes
Suzanne’s youth classes introduce young artists to a wide range of creative materials and techniques while encouraging imagination and personal expression. Students explore a variety of mediums including watercolor, acrylic painting, collage, assemblage, and even fiber arts, learning both foundational skills and the joy of experimentation. Suzanne’s teaching style emphasizes encouragement, curiosity, and confidence, helping young artists discover their unique creative voice in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Adult Art Classes
Suzanne also leads creative workshops for adults and senior participants, offering a welcoming space where artistic exploration and personal expression can flourish at any stage of life. Participants have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of mediums including watercolor, acrylics, oils, collage, assemblage, and fiber arts. Classes may be structured as individual instruction, small gatherings of friends, or larger workshop settings, allowing each group to enjoy a relaxed and engaging creative experience together.
